FR Augustus (Gus) was purchased from Mountain Creek Longhorns in 2004. He is the result of a flush of Hatch's Candy Cane to Emperor. He has a powerhouse of a pedigree which includes Cowcatcher, Overwhelmer, Emperor, Texas Ranger JP, Ranger's Measles, Doherty 698, Measles 2349, and Hatch's Candy Cane.
